I gotta put Christopher first and whoever I'm seeing, whoever it is they are, they're gonna have to be able to get along with my kid, and if they don't, all bets are off. That's important to me. Yeah, guess what Eddie, I'm a firefighter and I'm also a bonafide cowboy and shark wrangler. My scuba diving license is still valid, by the way, I could teach Chris sometime.

You know what? He'll probably like that. Maybe next year. He's already going to summer camp and that's a hell of a big step. I don't know what I'm gonna do while he's gone for two whole weeks. I'm definitely gonna miss him.
You've gotta just trust that he's going to have a blast and he's going to miss you too. But you can always do what I do when I don't wanna come home to an empty house. Take more shifts.

I was thinking I'd just stock up on some frozen meals and pop it in the microwave for when I don't get to eat at the station. But if you're cooking, I guess I'm gonna be spoiled. How about in return I get us tickets to the movies or something?
