[ He grins at Tony because yes, it does seem like that's exactly what he's saying, isn't it? It's been a little over five years they've been married, and he feels sometimes like he said his vows yesterday, feels like those emotions are all still fresh. He kisses Tony's forehead and confesses to him: ]

I might have a crush on you. And I know, I know. It's dangerous to have a crush on a married man, but I can't help it. You give me butterflies every time.

[ He shoots him a fond look, which grows fonder yet as he recalls those days, all those years ago, and he really knew right away that Tony was the one, he thinks. That's how he remembers it, anyway. Realistically, he had originally tried not to fall for Tony too fast, but that had failed just a little spectacularly. ]

You're the greatest co-pilot, Tony. You're my man in the sky.

[ But he should let Tony get some sleep in. And, honestly, Steve should maybe get some of that too. ]
