[It might be entirely obvious, the way he just sort of melts. The way he eases. Steve's always been good at that. The call of that name just going straight to his heart. The rest of it filling him with warmth that almost makes it impossible not to want to give in.

He nuzzles, just a little, almost automatically, too. At times he's never really stopped worrying, about that Steve's core facet sometimes seems to just default to being the strong one. Leading the both of them around. Tony's not sure he's ever repaid that, or will ever be able to. But over the years it's been so easy to lean on that assurance, that strength.

His hand grips Steve's, as if holding on to a lifeline, but he smiles all the same.] Oh, are you telling me you still have a crush on me? [Amusement alight in his voice, in his eyes. It's fine anyway. Tony's still helplessly in love with him.]

I remember falling asleep on you then, too. On the way back. [Which had been new and strange. Never one to let his guard down so quickly but with Steve it had just felt right. Easy to trust him, not just at the helm of his car, but with his entire being.] Kinda makes me a bad co-pilot.
